I need feedback on the search engine performance. Are you able to use the search engine? What do you see etc?

Google Has Let Me Down

For the first time in 3 years, since this blog came into existence, Google has let me down and broken my trust. I was a subscriber of their Adsense program and fairly earned a little bit of money every month (average 60-70 USD a month) by running some advertising on the blog and the Google Custom Search Engine. Two or 3 days ago, I received the following mail from them

“

While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense
account
has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since
keeping your
account in our publisher network may financially damage our
advertisers in
the future, we've decided to disable your account.

Please
understand that we consider this a necessary step to protect the
interests of
both our advertisers and our other AdSense publishers. We
realize the
inconvenience this may cause you, and we thank you in advance
for your
understanding and cooperation.”

Now, Google Adsense has accused me of click fraud which means they think that I click on the advertisements myself or ask others to click on these adverts!

You know what, initially, I felt hurt and cheated because this is so f***g untrue.

But later I realized that click fraud is just a façade. The real reason why Google banned my Adsense account is not click fraud. I never did that. I never asked any one of you to click on these advertisements. When I thought about this more, I realized there could be two reasons why Google blocked me.

They do not want to share any revenue on the Adsense for Search program with me anymore. They decided they could pocket those 60-70 USD too and simply block my Adsense ID. What a way to do it? Taint the person and keep the money!

They think that medical transcriptionists searching for words for their job is not “real” search and that if they click on those ads it means nothing and that their advertisers do not receive a return on their investments for those clicks. Bull….what about medical transcription job ads, medical transcription equipment ads. Are medical transcriptionists not consumers? Don’t they buy cars, electronics, homes, clothes, food?

What really hurts me is the fact that they really do not care about me as a publisher and my audience at all. For 3 years, running ads on my search engine was good enough for them and now it is not? This search engine has inspired many Tom, Dick, and Harrys to create similar search engines. Why is Google is not banning them?

My question to Google is even if they are right that medical transcriptionists searching for words and clicking on ads does not generate ROI for their advertisers why did they have to disable my account? I just opted for an option that they provided me. I did not cheat anyone or made changes to their code or anything. Didn’t they think they could have told me to disable advertising on my custom search engine without tainting my account? Why did they have to disable my Adsense account and taint my name for no reason? Shame on you guys.

Is Google really beyond evil? I doubt.

Anyways…I want to assure you that this blog and this search engine will continue to exist. This platform, Blogger, belongs to Google to so you never know if this will be “take care of” too. The advertisements that appear on the Search Engine results will generate revenue only for Google now.

I will continue to contribute to this search engine and this blog no matter what this silly Google Adsense team thinks or does?

Terms of Service Violation Message

Some Googleformt users are complaining that when they log in to search, they see a Terms of Service violation notice.

I'd be glad if you all let me know through comments or email if you too are getting the same notice. I am working on it. Probably a new cool template soon.

Some things to note

No, I am not exclusively going to Twitter. I just want to learn what Twitter is and how having a lot of friends there can make a difference.

About the AHDI MedQuist controversy and any other suit filed against MedQuist - I am not aware of a newer suit filed against MedQuist. If someone knows about such a suit filed against MedQuist, please let me know. Until then I'd like to maintain what I said previously about the MedQuist class action settlement.
